Dale Riegle is principal trumpet with the Pensacola Symphony, and spent 11 years as principal trumpet with the Mobile Symphony Orchestra, and six years as principal trumpet with the Gulf Coast Symphony in Biloxi, Mississippi. He leads the Perdido Brass, a chamber ensemble that has been featured in concert in the West Florida area, including televised appearances on WEAR-TV3 and public television station WSRE-TV. Mr. Riegle has been a soloist on the “Music at Christ Church” series in Pensacola, with the Pensacola Symphony, including an appearance with former Canadian Brass trumpeter Jens Lindemann; also soloist with the Mobile Symphony, the Okaloosa Symphony and the Pensacola Civic Band. He has been an adjunct instructor at Pensacola State College since 1990, where he teaches applied trumpet and brass ensemble. Mr. Riegle is the Technical Director, producer and host for numerous jazz programs at West Florida’s public radio station WUWF, 88.1FM. He is also the personnel manager for the Pensacola Symphony and Choral Society of Pensacola Orchestras. He and his wife Stephanie, principal flutist with the Pensacola Symphony, stay very active musically in the Pensacola area.
